On Saturday, January 28th 2012, in a mild sunny weather in low 40s, 24 Deaf players from the New England region helped contributions in a couple of ways – several hundreds of dollars had been raised and a box of canned foods has been donated. For one particular agency, their Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients, whom have several family members under age of 18 and barely make ends meet, would benefit tremendously from the generosity.
NEDDG congratulates Center for Living and Working, Inc’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Independent Living Services for being this year’s recipient and thanks those who came to play for a great cause.
